Jive/Social' at the Raggalds, Queensbury BD13 1NA on 9th September 7:30-11.00pm (£5 pay on door). It's a Jive/Rock n Roll dance, EVERYONE WELCOME. Free raffle (for a bottle of wine) with your entry ticket, the card game and a charity raffle too (donations welcome). There will be a Clothes rail for anyone wanting to display (sell) dance related clothing (put a price and a contact name with the garment). Hope to see you there.

The Elland Jive Christmas party at the Bankfield Social Club will be a themed event. The theme is' Eastern Promise' Think Ali Baba, the Pharoes and the Great Pyramids, The Genie of the lamp, Hooka n Fez. Come dressed to impress (optional, but there are prizes to be had for best dress) It's also a 'Jacob's Join' event, you are invited to bring party food to share. Live Rock n Roll show, the 'Higher/Lower' card game, Jeff's Charity Raffle (donations welcome) A great party atmosphere for just £5, pay on door. Starts 7:30pm Friday 20th December. Dance Scene 1950s Record Hop
Following the draw at the Record Hop on Saturday evening (9th June), the two benefactors of the £100 raffle money have gone to 'Prostate Cancer Research UK and Cancer Research UK'. Thank you and well done to all Northcote Jivers who have donated prizes and bought into the raffles over the last few months. Money sent 10th June. Cheers, Del & Joyce
Valentines Jive Money
Elland, Bankfield Jivers have received a big 'thank you' from Howard Priestley, the Manager at Phoenix fm, Calderdale's Community Radio Station, for the raffle money (£45) that was raised by the Jivers at the Wednesday Jive Class & Social on the 14th Feb.
